Cash Reserve results
For general tips about reading the results, see the Results step.
You can see results about your cash reserve in the following places.
Strategy summary step
Go to the Results step on the top menu, and then choose the Strategy summary sub-step.
At this step, you will see sections for:
Cash reserve - shows the required cash reserve, and the maximum amount above the reserve.
Your cash and offset accounts - shows you whether your cash is kept in cash or offset accounts, or both.
Cash flows & Action items step
Go to the Results step top menu, and then choose the Cash flows & action items sub-step.
In the Cash flows report:
The Revenue section lists the following lines (if in the strategy):
Withdrawals from cash accounts
Redraws from loan offset accounts
The Expenditure section lists the following items (if in the strategy):
Deposits to cash accounts
Deposits to loan offset account
Detailed reports step
Go to the Results step on the top menu, and then choose the Detailed reports sub-step.
At this step, the following reports may be useful (note, these reports list values for every year in the analysis):
Available cash balances (under Consolidated) - For each year of the analysis, you can see the balances of all cash and offset accounts, plus the total available cash, required cash reserve and the amount over the cash reserve (if any). Note that this report only lists cash accounts or loan offset accounts because the funds are readily available (unlike Fixed interest accounts or insurance bonds, where it may not be possible to withdraw funds easily).
Assets & Loans (under Consolidated)- note that the 'Offset account' balance will be listed in the 'Loan' section, not the 'Assets' section.
Adjusting your results
