Secured Loan (mortgage) results
For general tips about reading the results, see the Results step.
You can see results about a secured loan in the following places:
- At the Strategy summary sub-step (under the Results step on the top menu) you will see sections for:
- Each secured loan (listed under the asset it is financing) - this will show initial balance or amount borrowed, projected final balance or if paid off.
- On the asset that the loan is financing, the loan balance will be included in the total loan balances, including if the loan is secured by another asset.
- At the Cash flows & action items sub-step (under the Results step on the top menu):
- The Cash flows report > Revenue section lists the following lines (if in the strategy):
- Amount borrowed for any new secured loan
- Redraws from the offset account
- The Expenditure section lists the following items (if in the strategy):
- Repayments on the loan
- Deposits to the loan offset account
- In the Action items, there will be points for loan repayments and a statement when the loan is fully repaid.
- The Cash flows report > Revenue section lists the following lines (if in the strategy):
- Detailed reports sub-menu (on the Results step on the top menu), the following reports may be useful (note, these reports list values for every year in the analysis):
- Loans repayment summary and Loans borrowing summary (under Consolidated) - this gives an overview of all the loans in the case including the loan balance, loan repayment, interest, and minimum repayment.
- Under Consolidated > Assets & Loans find the asset that the loan is funding.
- On the asset report, there are sections for LVR, Financing and a summary of each loan relating to the asset (securing or financing).
- Under the asset report, there are sub-reports for the loan:
- (Secured loan) report which gives an overview of the loan, and year-by-year, minimum repayment required, interest, and loan repayment
- Under this report are sub-reports for:
- Interest - for each year, calculates the interest on the loan
- Loan offset account - shows, year-by-year, deposits, redraws, and start and end-of-year balances (for more about offset account results, see Cash and offset account results)
- Under (Individual) > Assets & Loans there are similar reports for a loan, however, only the individual's repayments, interest, and loan offset account transactions are reported.
Adjusting your results
