Pathfinder Modelling Options

Optimo Pathfinder is online strategy development software where you can model and compare strategies yourself. This page has a summary of the standard modelling options avaialble. If your case is outside the scope of Pathfinder, you can contact Optimo Support where we can may be able to adjust the case or do the modelling for you. Modelling options for Individuals

Options for individuals include:

  • A single person or a couple

  • Children can be included for estimating the Family Tax Benefit (FTB parts A and B)

Tax rates & Currency

Pathfinder only models in Australian dollars. For tax purposes, Pathfinder assumes that all individuals are Australian residents, and estimates personal income tax using the adult tax rates.

If you want to model a case for an individual who is a foreign resident for tax purposes, or for whom the child tax rates should be applied, then you can submit your cases to our Strategy Development Service (SDS) for an additional charge. For more see Optimo Financial SDS.
