Getting Started Guide
This guide is a good place to start if you have never used Pathfinder before. You can start from the beginning or skip to the section you're interested in:

Log in to Pathfinder
Make sure you are using Chrome | To use Pathfinder, you need to use Chrome as your internet browser. Pathfinder is not compatible with other browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Safari) because they can work differently from Chrome and may cause unexpected behaviour when using Pathfinder. Downloading Chrome only takes a few minutes:

Check your version of Chrome is up to date | If you just installed Chrome you can skip this step.
Using older versions of Chrome can cause issues in Pathfinder. Checking and updating only takes a moment.

Enter the case details and the first scenario
At the Current situation step, enter personal details and existing assets, liabilities, superannuation and insurance. | |
At the Cash flows & Goals step, add cash flows, instructions for existing items and add proposed items. | See Entering Data in Pathfinder and Tips for creating scenarios (Cashflows & Goals step) If you prefer more structured instructions, you can follow Recommended approach for modelling a case in Pathfinder |
